As President and CEO of the Ontario Casino Corporation (OCC), Mr. Alfieri was responsible for the development and operation of Canada’s three largest commercial casinos: Casino Windsor, Casino Rama and Casino Niagara.

No one has a keener understanding or more in-depth knowledge of Canada's casino marketplace or of the complex issues involved in the gaming industry. Mr. Alfieri personally led casino development in Ontario from its earliest stages as a government policy-development exercise through its program design phase, legislative & regulatory development, site selection, and ultimately through its implementation. He has interfaced first hand with various legislative, regulatory, law enforcement, business and community entities at all levels of government.

From revenue generation to job creation, he has dealt with every key issue that confronts gaming in a new venue. He brings not only an in-depth knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework governing gaming activities, but also a track record for planning, developing, implementing and opening casinos on schedule, on budget, and to a quality standard that has placed Ontario in the limelight within the international gaming community.
