Atam Uppal was the founding Director of Operations for the Ontario Casino Corporation.  He played a key role in the development of policy and the implementation of the casino initiative in Ontario Canada.  He was responsible for the development of four Commercial casinos including a riverboat casino over the past five years:  Casino Windsor, Northern Belle, Casino Rama and Casino Niagara.  These casinos now generate more than $2 billion annually and attract over 20 million visitors annually.

Mr. Uppal has assisted various other jurisdictions including South Africa, United Kingdom, India, and Nepal.  He is now an independent gaming consultant and the Vice President of Econometric Research Limited, a prominent econometric research firm engaged in the study of economic impacts and optimization of casino space.  He has also served as an Economist and Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Finance, Government of Ontario Canada.
