STEP
2: Order a copyright registration; stop others
from copying your work.
WHAT
IS A REGISTERED COPYRIGHT?
A Registered Copyright is a copyright for which you have
been granted a monopoly by the United States Government.
As soon as you express your creation, you own a copyright
in that work. However, if you do not get a Registered Copyright
from the United States Government, you cannot defend your
copyright and sue people who copy your expressed idea.
There is no reason why someone should not get a Registered
Copyright.
A + Legal Services can handle your copyright registration
for a very low cost and with relative ease. And, of course,
why not have a sample of your copyrighted work kept in the
Library of Congress for future generations of Americans
to see? Getting a Registered Copyright might mean that a
copy of your work will be kept as part of the collection
of the Library of Congress.
