Android & Blackberry

Android smartphones have many different models to choose from, this gives you a large market to tap. With the fame a fortune of Google being the Android Marketplace, how can you go wrong? We certainly recommend that if you are creating a phone app in the iPhone format that you also replicate it as an Android app for the Google Market. This gives you an entire worldwide audience with which to market and sell the app to. Missing out on this can mean losing 50% of your International sales and distribution.

Unlike the iPhone, which has only one model with different sizes of memory, Androids have many upon many different model types. People who choose a smartphone may prefer this option than being forced into the one and only iPhone type (Based on their current model at that time). iPhones, Androids and Blackberries all have different programming languages, so this can cost three times the amount of making only one format based on a phone type. BUT you also can have three different markets to sell through. You may not want to miss out on those odds!

Blackberry is not the most widely used and popular smartphone. It is used more by International businessmen and women for emailing and basic stuff. If there is one format that you want to save money on, we would suggest to skip the Blackberry. Stick to the Android and iPhone.
